About this Pitstop Branch - Fish Hoek ::

This branch was opened in July 1997 and traded as Tyremart selling tyres, mag wheels and batteries. With the acquisition of the Tyremart network in 1999 the branch was renamed Pitstop.

At that stage the premises were small as the branch operated from workshop premises which were on a petrol station. In 2000 most of the site was demolished and on the corner new premises for a motor dealer was constructed. Pitstop also commenced construction of its own premises and in 2001 the revamped Pitstop Fish Hoek was launched.

The branch cover a wide footprint as it services the needs of customers from areas as far afield as Simons Town and Noordhoek and even Hout Bay.

This was also the first branch to have wheel alignment pits built in 2005. A state-of-the-art wheel alignment machine (imported from Hunter Engineering in the USA) was commissioned in April 2005.
